Just as you ‘like’ it - Shared, liked and loved!

Hello friends and followers, welcome and thank you for visiting our website and for the interest you have shown in Blairgowrie and Rattray [.com]  It’s a wonderful way for you to enjoy the fruits of our own labour as well as sampling the pick of the crop of what we could source directly from our neighbours who believe in Blairgowrie  and Rattray as passionately as we do.  It’s simple, useful and always here as a reminder.

Distinct flavour…  First up, after almost 3 years learning from experience, together with great support and a special bond between followers and friends our dreams are starting to come to fruition (pun intended).  Produced and maintained by it’s author for the benefit of ex-pat’s, visitors and those who shop, live, work and conduct business in mind.  Largely inspired by using traditional values, great memories and good humour we take any and all opportunities to make sure there is an adequate crop, picking conditions are right and the rewards are well worth it - think fresh!

Constantly growing…  As of today we continue to ripen and mature into something that has real value, purpose and meaning.  A good source of local leads for people to get the message.

We’ve always had close links and like nothing better than hearing from our social friends in addition to newcomers so that we never stop improving what we do.  Of course, we couldn’t do it without our loyal fan base (friends) that just keep coming.  Thank you for your contributions and great content.

Share the harvest… To complement our own variety we are proud to introduce you to our neighbours providing a diverse and unique selection of provisions for the enthusiastic picker.  Don’t be shy!  Stroll in and ask them if they’ll let you pick.  Chances are you’ll adopt some new tastes while you’re there.

Pick as much or as little as you need, but please remember to come back to weigh in and do the count.  We love to know which ones you liked most.  Top tip to ensure a great pick-your-own experience:  There’s foraging to be done.  The best pickings are usually hiding under the leaves, so don’t forget to carefully brush the canes aside while picking.

As fresh as it gets (PYO)…  Whilst flavour is obviously very personal we believe our taste buds are good enough to pick out the best in their field as they become available throughout the season.  As usual we have picked the sweetest and juiciest top spots for convenience.  If you're feeling especially indulgent then the rapidly growing  ‘Blairgowrie and Rattray Memories’ page makes for a satisfying and rewarding jaunt to help build on and share your passion.  For some, It’s a trip down memory lane.

Most importantly, however we feel that by making it easier to select ensures you can enjoy Blairgowrie and Rattray at its most fresh at the time of your visit.

Nibble as you pick, we don’t have a problem with ‘tasters’ and believe it’s all part of the pick-your-own experience.
